MFSA's quarterly all-hands meetings continue with our spring meeting on April 22. The special guest speaker for our spring meeting is Professor Harry Lewis, Gordon McKay Research Professor of Computer Science at Harvard University and co-president of the Council on Academic Freedom at Harvard (CAFH). Among the topics of discussion with Professor Lewis will be the work of the faculty-led CAFH in promoting and defending free expression at Harvard, challenges to the campus climate in the wake of the Israel-Hamas conflict, and what lessons MIT and other institutions might take from Harvard's experience.
As is general practice with our quarterly meetings, time will also be given at our all-hands meeting for general Q&A with members, and for programming updates from MFSA leadership. The meeting vis fully virtual, and will be conducted via Zoom. Viewers can register at this link.
