MFSA will hold its summer quarterly all-hands meeting on Monday evening, July 22, 2024. Our special guest speaker will be Daniel Bonevac, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to his teaching and research on topics such as metaphysics, philosophy of mathematics, semantics, and philosophical logic, Bonevac has been a noted critic of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs at UT, and testified in support of legislation prohibiting state funding for such programs in 2023.
In addition to hearing from Professor Bonevac, MFSA leadership will discuss ongoing and upcoming programs and take questions on MFSA business from members. The meeting will last roughly 90 minutes, and a recording will be made available on the member portion of MFSA's website.
