MFSA's final quarterly all-hands meeting with take place on the evening of Monday, October 21, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. ET. Our special guest speaker is Professor Geoffrey Stone, Edward H. Levi Distinguished Service Professor of Law at the University of Chicago.

Mr. Stone has served on the University of Chicago faculty since 1973, after serving as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan, Jr. He later served as Dean of the Law School (1987-1994) and Provost of the University of Chicago (1994-2002).

Beyond his exceptional teaching, research, and service record, Professor Stone chaired UChicago's Committee on Freedom of Expression, which in 2015 produced the now-famous Chicago Principles on freedom of expression, which have been adopted or emulated at dozens of universities nationwide.

In addition to our discussion with Professor Stone, MFSA leadership will discuss ongoing and upcoming programs and take questions on MFSA business from members. The meeting will last roughly 90 minutes, and a recording will be made available on the member portion of MFSA's website.
